Rodrigo is a BFA Photography student at Concordia University, combining technical skills with conceptual curiosity. His work has been shown at U1 (2024) and at Patro Villeray at his first solo show, Ever So Thankful: 27 Years of Gratitude (2023). Currently, he is organizing another exhibition at the Collectif MTL entitled To Whom We’ve Become.

By orchestrating environments where mutual understanding fosters collaboration, I am reflecting on the feeling of compassion. Yet, mixing photography with spatial installations, I propose a playful, immersive experience that invites viewers to consider a more cheerful approach to what is traditionally a space for thinking into a playground for connections to blossom. This practice revolves around Nicolas Bourriaud’s Relational Aesthetic, bringing into frame various open interactions, and offering insight into the question “How does one fit in?”
